Freaking fan girl squeee time! I will be honest with you all. Being an author is hard work. SURPRISE! I know right! You thought it was all sunshine and roses didn't you. Sorry to destroy the last fantasy you may have had. Yes, my shit does stink as my hubby often reminds me. However, as any gardener will tell you, you have to spread the manure to reap a beautiful, healthy and in this case, talented crop.
Almost two years ago, Alicia let me take the lead and queries were sent out to a wide variety of publishers, our baby attached and I patiently waited and grumbled each and every time Zoey and Ryan were shot down. Until. Until our friend, Tyler May, whom we have reviewed her books, pimped her work and just generally adopted said, "Let me send Hell In Heels to my publisher." Sight unseen. (How AWESOME is that?) Long story short (I know I am terribly mean, but more will come of this story, I promise), SJ Davis gave an unknown (me) an opportunity to give life to all of the people and stories in my head. Now I am surrounded by so much freaking talent, I seriously have big eyes of adoration as I follow along like a puppy, but least I am potty trained!
