New Winner & February Happenings

There is a lot going on this month. Many of you are planning for Valentine's Day. Your plan may include your significant other, or they may include a sweet little guy or gal (or more) who have to have just the right Valentines for their class at school.

The plan at my house was to make sugar cookies so that the little ones could frost heart shaped cookies. But, the best laid plans of mice and men do not always turn out as expected. Mine definitely have not. Instead of making cookies, I'm going to visit my son-in-law in the hospital.

Thankfully, he will be okay, but it is a reminder to say to your loved ones, what you want and need them to know now, rather than when they are gone. It also reminded me of Hell On The Heart, Pete and Annabeth's story. Why, you ask? Because they came together hot. Friends who became lovers when they had already been through hell.

Why wouldn't you trust the person who had your back when you were at your worst? Anna certainly does. This book also brings out the bad, which everyone has deep within, just waiting for a weak moment to explode out and hurt someone whether we like, or want it to or not. Pete controlled his demons. At least he thought he had control. When something horrible happens to his lady love he realizes he was just faking it until he made it. He really didn't have control over anything.

Now is your chance to get a copy for just $.99!

Not even a week after my son-in-law was released from the hospital we had another surprise. This one was just as unwelcome as the first. Our toilet began to back up, or should I say plug up. All the time.

So, bring on the plumbing fun...NOT! All of this in just a few days time.

I have learned one thing. I. AM. NOT. A. PLUMBER! I do not have plumbers crack and I do not want to have to clean up after another plumber. If anything, I want another bathroom AND I would LOVE to win the lottery. Oh, I am a grateful sharer by the way. I would gladly give money to friends and strangers after charity and securing family and myself for retirement.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Unfortunately, the original winner never responded to the newsletter, though they opened it. The second place winner, however, will be receiving a big box in the mail sometime next week! If you haven't already signed up for my Once In A Blue Moon newsletter, please do so here:

The winner will be announced via newsletter sent directly to your email. Don't worry, I will never spam your email, but you will receive updates on what me and my friends have going on including sales and freebies!

This Friday, February 9th, I'd like to invite you to attend fellow author, Raechel Lynn's Enthralled Release Day Facebook Party. All the information you need can be obtained right here:

I will be there for sure at 9:30 PM helping her celebrate! There will be prizes galore, fun and games and an excerpt or two I am sure!
